Bridges to Wealth is a unique mission-driven, social enterprise taught by professors at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and Graduate School of Education. By providing financial literacy classes and investment management courses, Bridges to Wealth creates communities of wealth throughout Philadelphia and beyond. Our unique approach to social finance provides participants with the education, opportunity, and social support to change financial behavior.
Boys' Latin of Philadelphia Charter School is Bridges to Wealth's model school site. Financial literacy training and investment management clubs started in January 2015 through Bridges to Wealth's Community Foundations program, making Boys' Latin the first school to partner with Bridges to Wealth to host this innovative, intergerational model. The Boys' Latin program is family-focused, bringing together parents, students, and teachers to improve savings and investing habits while building a social community to build accountability. To date, over 120 parents and community members have invested over $10,000. With generous support fromFranklin Square Capital Partners, classes continue to drive positive financial literacy outcomes, sustainable wealth creation, and the entrepreneurial landscape of Boys' Latin and greater Philadelphia community!
