74% of our 2011 are Enrolled in College

Our Inaugural Class, the Class of 2011 continues to produce impressive results.  We received a report from the National Student Clearinghouse, which confirms what students enrolled in college any time after the first year after high school, and 74% of our first graduating class are in college as of December 8, 2011.  The actual breakdowns are as follows:

Total in Class                             82

Total Enrolled                           61 (74%)

Total in Public Colleges           30

Total in Private Colleges         31

Total in 4-year Colleges          57 (69%)

Total in 2-year Colleges          4 (5%)

Total In-State                            45

Total Out-of-State                   16

By comparison, according to statistics for the Class of 2010 published in the Philadelphia Public School Notebook, only eight Special Admission District High School performed better than our 2011 result (Bodine, CAPA, Carver, Central, GAMP, Girls High, Lankenau, and Masterman).

The Class of 2011 has left a tremendous legacy for our school.  The Class of 2012 certainly has their work cut out for them.
