We comply with all federal and state certification requirements for charter school teachers. If you are not certified as a teacher, you must be enrolled in a program that leads to certification by the time you start at Boys’ Latin. You can be certified in a state other than Pennsylvania. If you are out-of-state certified, our HR department will walk you through the steps needed to attain Pennsylvania certification.
Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to Ruth Gonzalez, Director of Operations, via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Prior to submitting your application, we recommend you thoroughly review our website to familiarize yourself with our mission and model.
Our teachers are a diverse group, including experienced teachers who have worked in schools serving educationally underserved students, new teachers who are just beginning their careers, and career changers who are entering the classroom after succeeding in another profession. We are committed to building a diverse team who can provide high-quality instruction and build authentic, lasting relationships with students.
