Students will have the opportunity to receive breakfast and lunch during our school's closing. Non-perishable breakfast and lunch items will be available for pick-up as outlined in the school-specific plans below. Students or their family members can come to the front lobby of their respective school (high school or middle school), check in, and receive breakfast and lunch items for the week.
Students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade have already received student Chromebooks from the school. Additionally, the majority of Boys' Latin families have reported having access to technology tools at home. However, students without technology access may take advantage of the limited number of Chromebooks we have available as loaners. In order to secure a loaner Chromebook, a student must email the IT Team with their name and grade level in advance of the designated pick-up dates so their laptop can be prepared. Please see the school-specific distribution plan below. If you are unable to attend one of the below dates, please email the IT Team to coordinate an alternative plan with you.
During this period of distance learning, a variety of resources are available to students and families to support continued academic growth and achievement.
Our students remain our priority. School is closed, but we know the hardships and emotional struggles that accompany adolescence do not just go away. Furthermore the impact of COVID-19, the sudden change in daily routines, the absence of friends and loved ones, may cause anxiety to rise. Perhaps now more than ever, our students are grappling with stress, worry, or fear.
Our school social workers are here to help! For support, resources, and tools to cope with these difficulties please contact Yolanda Morales, High School Social Worker, at email@example.com or Kenneth Bourne, Middle School Social Worker, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
